MonsterBooks 4.0 FAQs

09/13/04 - No QuickBooks Company Detected

There are several things that can cause this to happen:
  1. You do not have a QuickBooks company file open. QuickBooks needs to be opened on the same machine as you are opening MonsterBooks on.
  2. You have QuickBooks company open, but it is not a version capable of integrating with MonsterBooks.
  3. You have a valid QuickBooks company open, but another program is utilizing it.

09/13/04 -2002 - 2003 Editions of QuickBooks will not import in Creditcard information properly, it only stuffs it into the Account # field.

The ability to import in Creditcard information was added in with the 2004 editions of QuickBooks and as such is not available unless you get a 2004 edition of QuickBooks. To compensate for this, the CC info is put into the Account # field so that it can be retrieved for later use.
