During checkout, there are no shipping options to choose from and I get the following message, “There are no shipping options available for this address”.
The reason that the system will return this message is because there are no valid shipping options for that specific order/address combination.
If you are using only real-time shipping rates then there is not a configured shipping option that goes to the destination of your customer OR the order total is above 150lbs. Even if you have your real-time weight ranges above 150lbs. values will not return for orders over this weight because shipping carries do not supply us with this information.
The other reason that your customers could get this reason would be if you have custom shipping options. Custom shipping options can be configured to filter by weight or by price. If the order placed is not within the constraints that are placed on the custom options then you will not receive any shipping options.
