Does the site title affect my listings in search engines?
Print this page  Email this to a friend

Yes, the title plays a huge role in search engine listings, especially if the site is new. The site title (Company Name and Default Title Tag) is the first thing the search engine spiders read and the more relevant to the site they are the better. Try putting two of your main keyword phrases in the title separated by a dash. This will make those two keyword phrases more relevant to your site.

Note: If you have to have the company name there, put it behind the keyword phrases.
