Should I have text on my homepage?

The more relevant text you have on your homepage, the better. That is the first page search engines will crawl so the more relevant text they think you are providing to your customers, the more relevant they will think your site is. To create content in your storefront homepage, add a good sized paragraph within your Message Editor or News Editor (HTML >> Homepage Message/News Editor). Use a mix of major keywords and related words about your products. Content is key in search engines.
