Summary

MonsterMarketplace

All MonsterCommerce clients are given the opportunity to submit their storefront to the MonsterMarketplace shopping directory for FREE. If your store meets the submission guidelines, you will receive an approval e-mail with a link to your store landing page within MonsterMarketplace. Once accepted, you will have the ability to edit and add information to enhance your store's listing. Enhancing your store listing is a great way to inform your customers of things such as payment options, shipping options, store hours, store location, etc. If you are not already listed in MonsterMarketplace, you can submit your site here.

To access your MonsterMarketplace account information, or to submit your site, go to Plug-Ins >> MonsterMarketplace under "Administration Tasks" from the left menu of your MonsterCommerce storefront admin panel.

Home Tab

After your store is live in MonsterMarketplace, you will have access to the "Account Management" screen via the MonsterMarketplace Plug-In in your admin panel menu. To access this option, to go Plug-Ins >> MonsterMarketplace under "Administration Tasks.

The first page you see will be the "Home" tab. This tab contains general information about your store listing and the category and subcategory your store has been placed in. The purple tab represents your location. Clicking on the other tabs will take you to their respective pages within the MonsterMarketplace Account Manager. The "Home Tab" will always be the first page you see when accessing your MonsterMarketplace account information. (See Figure 2.1)

  • Store Name -
    • This is the keyword name you entered when submitting your site. It is also the name for your store listing.
  • Store URL - This is the URL of the website for this listing.
  • Your Listing URL - This is the URL of your store landing page within MonsterMarketplace. Clicking on the link will take you to your store listing.
  • Date Approved - Date your store was approved and activated.
  • Total Clicks - This is the total number of clicks any of your items have received from your store listing in MonsterMarketplace.



Category Information ( Figure 2.2)

  • Top Level Category - This is the main category your store can be found under in MonsterMarketplace. This was selected when you submitted your store information. Currently, you can only be listed in one top level category at a time. You can change your category listing by submitting a ticket through your admin panel. (This is NOT recommended for SEO reasons.)
  • Subcategory - This is the subcategory your store can be found under in MonsterMarketplace. It is directly related to the top level category you are placed in.

  • Account Info Tab (Figure 3.1) - This tab will give you access to store information that can be altered in order to enhance your store listing for all MonsterMarketplace customers to see. Items such as store address, store hours, customer service phone numbers, payment methods, delivery options and other features can be controlled using this tab.

Overview
The Account Info tab gives you the ability to display store related information on your MonsterMarketplace landing page. You can enter all, or none, of the information you wish to display. Any fields you do not complete will not be displayed to shoppers. Information such as store hours, customer services info and other special features your site has to offer shoppers can be entered here to be displayed in MonsterMarketplace.

 


Account Info Menu Links

  • Summary (Figure 3.2) - The first page you see when you access this tab is the summary page. It contains an overview of the information that you have filled out and that is currently being displayed on your store landing page in MonsterMarketplace.
  • Edit/Change Store Info (Figure 3.3) - This link will take you to the edit info page. Here you can update or delete any of your store information.
  • View Marketplace Listing - This link open your MonsterMarketplace store landing page in a new window. This link allows you to easily preview the information you are editing as you change it within the plug-in.

Click Reports Tab: Overview

The Click Reports tab enables you to track the overall performance of your MonsterMarketplace store landing page. In this tab, you can find information about your MonsterMarketplace store conversions, conversion rate and other cumulative stats for MonsterMarketplace referrals and product views. You can also find information on the number and dollar amount of sales you have received in the past 24 hours from your store listing.

Overview
This tab gives you access to the merchant FAQs and the MonsterMarketplace Terms of Service. Before you contact support, be sure to check for new FAQs. The FAQs are updated on a monthly basis to ensure that your questions are answered as quickly as possible. If you are unable to find the answer you are looking for in the FAQs, please contact support directly.
