Summary

With the release of version 4.2, the My Account pages have been redesigned to provide a better experience for return customers.

My Account Home

After logging in the Customer is presented with the My Account Home page. The My Account Home page contains links for the Customer to update their personal profile, change their password, and view their orders filtered by order status. The My Account Home page also contains a search function that allows Customers to search by order number.

Personal Profile Page

The Personal Profile page allows a Customer to modify their Customer Account. The Customer can now specify a billing address and a shipping address. These addresses are saved within the Customer profile and are used when the Customer places an order.

Order Status Page

The Order Status page lists all of the Customer's orders, as well as links to view more details about those orders. The Order Status page has columns displaying Order Number, Order Total, Order Status, Order Date, and Tracking Number. The Tracking Number column is only displayed if the setting Display Tracking Number on Order Status Page is set to Yes. This setting can be found on Setting >> Site Wide Settings >> Log In & My Account tab. Tracking Number is a link that takes the customer to the tracking page of the appropriate carrier with the tracking number filled in. The Order Number is also a link and takes the Customer to the View Order page.

View Order Page

The View Order page contains all information associated with that order such as Shipping Information, Payment Information, etc. This page also contains links to email, print, reorder, and go back. These links are displayed at the top and bottom of the page. The Print link opens a printer friendly version (black text on a white background) of the View Order page in a new window. On the printer friendly page, there is a link to print the page and a link to close the window. If your site has a logo defined in the Layout >> Logo Editor then this logo will display at the top of the printer friendly page.

Change Password Page

The Change Password page requires the Customer to enter their old password, then enter their new password and confirm their new password. Text entered in the old password field must exactly match the password on record. New passwords must be at least 6 characters and no more than 50 characters.
