In this Guide: Viewing Customer Shopping Carts
Summary
The Not Finalized Orders functionality from version 3.x has been revamped for inclusion within 4.0. Instead of only saving abandoned Checkout attempts as Order records, Store Admins are now able to view the contents of all Shopping Carts on their site. The View Shopping Carts page displays a list of all active carts on the site. The Shopping Cart Details page displays the products within an individual shopping cart, checkout step of cart, and customer information (if available).
View Shopping Carts List
Select this option, found within your Orders >> View Shopping Carts. You will see list of open shopping carts on your website displaying the following information:
- Cart #
- Customer
- Products Last Updated
- Checkout Step
- Subtotal
- Actions
View Shopping Carts List Defined
- Cart Number
- A unique id for each cart. This is also a text link to view the Cart Details page.
- Customer
- The customer first and last name, if available. If the customer has not yet entered checkout and advanced past the Billing Info step, the text “Not Available” will display.
- Products Last Updated
- The date that the customer last added or removed products from their cart. Please note that this does not update based on when the customer advances through checkout steps.
- Checkout Step
- Displays the step that the customer left the checkout process at. The
options are:
- Did Not Checkout
- 2 Step - Login
- 2 Step - Address & Options
- 2 Step - Shipping & Payment
- 2 Step - Paypal Express Order Options
- 2 Step - Paypal Express Review & Payment
- 4 Step - Login
- 4 Step - Shipping Address
- 4 Step - Billing Address
- 4 Step - Order Options
- 4 Step - Review & Payment
- 4 Step - Paypal Express Order Options
- 4 Step - Paypal Express Review & Payment
- Subtotal
- The total of the prices for all products within the cart. While the Subtotal will reflect discounted prices due to a Cookie Discount Code, this value does not reflect discount codes entered during the Order Options checkout step.
- Actions
- Contains the View button, which is a link to view the Shopping Cart Details page.
Searching Shopping Carts
You can search Shopping Carts for a Customer's first or last name as well as by the Checkout Step of the cart.
